RemoteTech/SCANsat or ksp CommNet/KerbNet
Do I need RemoteTech and SCANsat anymore as CommNet and KerbNet is standard now. I've not played for some time now and liked RemoteTech and SCANsat. Would I get any conflicts if I still use RemoteTech and SCANsat?

I don't use RT, but I definitely prefer SCANsat. Those arrays are pretty, so are the grainy monochrome maps.

If you use RemoteTech is will give you an option to pick either RT or KN ingame.
So its compatible, but you can only select 1 option.
Last time I checked.

I'm gonna give the vanilla sats a go first. I'm having to do some tutorials to jog my memory atm. I did quickly have a look at the kerbnet scenario but why are there no lines connecting to each satellite to show they are communicating with each other? Eg when you look at the 3 sats in orbit around kerbin you don't see the lines connecting them forming a triangle like it did in remote tech.

In map mode there is a button to switch between which connections should be drawn.
By default only the best connection of your vessel to Kerbin is displayed, but you can change that to "network" and then all avaible connections will be shown.
