...or when he setup his pc, he created a new steam account instead of using his old login..
seems like something someone might do..
buy ksp on every computer
I have KSP installed on 3 machines lol. My work computer, personal computer, and Laptop.

I really wish KSP would have cloud saving.
you steam license is tied to your account not a particular machine. That means you can only have one copy of of it running per account, doesn't matter which machine.

Yup. So if you've bought it already, you can download it from Steam as many times as you want. Unless you refunded it, or used dodgy card details to buy it.

Not with KSP. While usually true with most games on Steam, Squad don't use Steam's DRM software (or any as far as I know). You can make multiple copies for your own use, even keep different (old) versions alongside the latest version. You don't need steam running (or even installed).

Also, since there are no registry entries for the game you can technically just copy your KSP folder and move it to another computer. Would be able to run from anywhere basically.
im not faking or scamming

i have reinstalled ALL of my other games, but i cant reinstall Kerbal Space Program.

In that case something is clearly wrong and you need to contact Steam support
my old computer is broken. that's why i got a new one in the first place
Does it even show in your library? Start from there. After that, are their any messages when you try to download it?
it does not show in my library at all.

I see 2 possiblities

- you didn't buy it through steam
OR
- you're logged into a different steam account

anything else is just shenanigans
I BOUGHT IT ON THE SAME ACOUNT JUST A DIFFERANT COMPUTER BUT ITS NOT IN MY LIBRARY ANYMORE

I've never seen these threads end any way other than "Oops, turned out I did have another account."

Check your purchasing emails if you still have them, do an account recovery to any and all e-mail adresses you remember and/or contact support and have them pull up accounts based on your payment details. If you make your profile public, we may be able to use any data on there through the community search and google to pull up your other account.
