Demo Removed?

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to have my friend to play the KSP Demo, but I can't find it anywhere on Steam.
Was it removed?

I went to the KSP website and the Demo is "Under Maintenance."

Did Squad permanently remove the Demo? Any idea when the Demo will return?

Any information would be appreciated.

I went looking on steam, and found nothing. A quick Google found me a 3rd party download which took 400ish MB as a .zip file. Works fine!

Demo was very old. They may be reworking demo for new languages.

Invite your friend (to Twitch stream?) for now. Try to ask on their forums. There is no Squad representative on this forum since sal_vager left. At least none official.

That's pretty much the case. The demo needs to be of at least a recent version to be representative of the full game. Of course there are really, really old versions available that show more where the game came from than where it is. And I'm one of the game's QA leads, so I'm not sure how official that is. I'll tend to forward stuff onto Badie or Uomocapra if there's something I don't know or can't answer that might need a Squad Response™.
