please help disk read error.
i don't know but i had a bunch of mods, and i deleted everything in the ksp folder, and attempted to reinstall. but i just get an error. something about disk read error

If i were you -
Uninstall kerbal in steam - Go to the steam apps/common file and find and delete the kSP folder there too. Then try reinstalling via steam.

There's another possibility that you can find a 0byte file or folder which you can delete and try again. I can't remember the specifics.

I get disk read errors when I buy my HDDs from Southern Digital.

Try reinstalling the game, and if that doesn't work then your hard drive is screeeeeewwwwwwed.
