Tutorial bug? MK16 parachute
The very first tutorial seems bugged. Tells me to add an MK16 parachute and set the atmospheres to .02, except 0.04 is the lowest setting. Won't let me continue without doing it. Help?

No offense or anything but 0.2 is larger than 0.04

Read again. I didn't use a leading zero but the decimal is first. .02, not 0.2. And .02 is less than .04, which makes it impossible to set since hte lowest setting is .04

How about you actually read the instructions instead of imagining bugs? The instructions very clearly state that you need to set it to 0.2. The minimum is 0.04, so the target value (0.2) is not a problem since 0.2 > 0.04. It is also correct that 0.2 is "a bit to the right" of 0.04

I am not sure why the above screenshot was cropped to hide the exact source of your complaint, but here is the same screenshot with the instruction text.

Because it's Toastie. I'm just surprised it's not a rocket launching a beach hut.

Because it wasn't a tutorial, just a standard build in the VAB. I also misread the OP, but whatever. I knew the tutorial wasn't asking for impossible things.

So what you meant to say, to be helpful was ... "I think you misread the tutorial which says 0.2, not 0.02." ... To which I reply. "Thanks, you're right."

Alternatively, you could be thankful for the help you recieved in the thread. Strange concept, I know.

Well, at least you're committed to getting this game going and learning stuff, ya know, posting this question on 2 forums and all ;). Enjoy!

0.04 is smaller than 0.2. You can trust me, I was in honors math for 3 years, I'm PRETTY sure I know how decimals work...
