RCS fuel
I just stuck four RCS thruster blocks on a fuel tank, but that doesn't seem to work. How do I get fuel to them?

RCS needs monoprop (different sort of tanks)

Unless you use vernor thrusters - in which case Lf+Ox would be your go to fuel

OK, I understand. But, why do my ships still move when I have SAS off, and RCS on, in orbit? I mean, I drained all the 'monopropellant' from the main pod.

OK, I found the RCS fuel tanks in sandbox. I have a block on my career mode saying I can't advance beyond 100 science stuff at my level.

What level is the game refering to?

The level of your R&D lab building.

Thank you. Yeah, I found it. But how do I get beyond the level 100 barrier on my Science?

Reaction wheels still respond to your inputs. SAS doesn't turn them on or off, just adds "assistance" to stop things from forever moving and point the craft in certain directions. You can disable reaction wheels through the right click menu or assign the toggle function to an action group in the editors (SPH / VAB)

You'll need to upgrade your R&D lab. Right click on the building when looking at KSC to bring up that menu.

Duh! I can't believe I missed that.

Yeah, I know about SAS. Thank you for the right click menu tips, though I have looked at those.

I still need to learn the editors, maybe.

And thanks for clarifiying the reaction wheels. I knew this stuff, but you helped solidify the data.
