it's too slow and annyoing to do.
it's even more annoying when you have to land you craft next to the thing you want to target just to move the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera and lock onto it.
Launch your craft
Fly to altitude,
switch on guard mode extend the range and field of view if required
turn toward intended target
If target is in range the AI will lock on with the most suitable weapons avaiable for ground combat
These include hellfires, certain but not all radar guided weapons, bombs and air launch cruise types
The AI will fire the weapon watch and learn.
For the scenario you have described , ground targets fit only helfire missiles, and or guns, until you have worked out how it all works
If you fit a radar to your craft, that will lock first ,
click on the target on the radar screen
enable the camera and click the radar button on the camera gui this locks the camera to the radar target
From there you can either arm select and fire your helfires or send the coordinates to gps for an air launched gps guided device. No landing next to target required,
Target set to team B?
It's really not that difficult
See if this helps any it's the manual method but you can lock the camera onto anything with a collider so you must at least be able to target the ground, there's a lot of it
