I would double check that's 100% true because someone in the past said exactly the same thing....then found the virtual adapter was still present.

Well done. How about explaining what your problem was rather than just saying it's solved. Considering you put (fixed) in your title, someone searching for that fix might find the information useful.

Nobody does that. Thats why everybody always has the same problems.
I stil don't get why people bother with searching for solutions. The easiest way to fix 98% of ksps problems is simply reinstalling.

I wouldn't say nobody does it. Personally, when I have any software issue I first try things based on my knowledge and experience combined with the signs and information given by the program. If I still come unstuck, to google I go and 99.99999999% of the time I can find an answer.

If I get stuck at the assets loading screen after installing/deinstalling some mods I do the following:

-Right click on KSP in your Steam Library
-Click Properities
-Chose the Local Files Tab
-Click on Verify integrity of local Files
-et voila , local files are getting checked and the missing and currupted ones are getting redownloaded.

No need to reinstall the whole game ;)

I got a clean copy of it stored. So all it takes me is to delete everything but saves and gamedata and put in the clean files. Havent needed it thou since I keep my eyes open while installing mods.

I did that, and updated some mods.
