Is there a mod that tells you knots, Mach or MPH?
I seem to remember MecJeb did this, but it's been years since I used MecJeb. I'd like something simple, like a dial or readout.

Kerbal Engineer Redux (KER) will show you your mach number when in atmosphere. I don't know about knots or mph.

You can learn.

1 metre is roughly 3 feet, 3.28 to be exact.
Say your craft is traveling 1000 m/s. This is roughly 3000 ft/s.

3000 ft/s is roughly 2045 mph, or mach 2.6.
2045 mph or mach 2.6 is roughly 1733 knots.

I like knots because I'm an aviation enthusiast.

It's not updated to 1.3 yet so....use at your own risk.
1.3? HAHAHAHAHA

The update is far from worthy of being a new version.

1.2.3.

Wow, offtopic much? But whatever. KSP is the same game that went from version 0.7.3 to version 0.25, slowly and steadily mostly in .01 increments, for three years and then jumped from version 0.25 directly to 0.90 in less than three months. The devs can, and do, and will continue to, number the software any way they see fit. Get over it.

Still doesn't make it worthy.

The updates where it jumped versions were actually good.

Well, in many ways the latest update is good. Does it add new parts? Barely. Does it fix a number of issues and allow better support for mods in other areas? Yes.

Just because you don't see the things you personally want, doesn't make the update poor overall.

This. Also the language support is a HUGE improvement for a vast number of people.

That .28 is not only difficult to remember, but can throw off the mental calculation quite rapidly.
I don't really use units other than metric in KSP as there is no application for them that I am aware of. I may have grown up with the english system, but I do not require a translation; just a seperate rule book (such as knowing at how many m/s cockpits get smashed at).
