Man, if you can't figure out how to install mods...I don't think a game about rocket science is for you.
Again, so let CKAN do it for you.
There are 2 main reasons why KSP doesn't have a workshop.
1. Because a large percentage of players are non Steam players.
2.KSP mods work by .dll files. Workshop, last I heard, doesn't allow .dll files, meaning no mod would work anyway.
