More will be coming in the future.
It's not as easy as you think.
Here's a quote from the Dev's themselves:
Each language was carefully localized so it keeps the humor and charm of the english version. Keyboard layouts, UI and textures were also modified to please local players of each region.
To give you an idea of the scope of this endeavour, we had to carefully revise all lines of code to start cataloging all the aspects that needed to be localized and addressed. We translated more than 95,000 words, created 456 images for textures and UI, prepared 684 slides for the KSPedia and everything was carefully revised by a team of more than twenty dedicated volunteers.
Only as comparison: The "life is strange" developers have approximately the same company size. The language content can be compared with a harry potter book. They did not even need 6 months for 5 language translations (standard localization: German, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese).
But of course, we urgently need Russian and Chinese. ;-)
Main reason being, these languages cover a large demographic of people who are less likely to understand English.
Edit: ...and yes, I realise Portuguese isn't covered in the update.
This company is a no-go - and I have said everything there is to say.
You seem to speak English just fine.
Why are you of all people complaining about a lack of translation?
this is a difficult game that needs to be understood well
I'm not sure if it'll work for your language but there is a community mod that adds other languages: (hopefully the recent patch didn't break it.)

Sorry to hear that, hopefully it will be added soon. : D
And that's gonna be English. In the unlikely event the planet DOES manage to come up with a One World Language, English is gonna be it. Deal.
