The Sequel Wasn't Needed

It is of my opinion that the sequel sucks in every regard.

First off, I will address my issues with the story. In most of it, world of goo corporation is no longer really the main focus anymore. Instead, the corporation has died.

Instead, the corporation gets run with robots who take over and for some reason want to harvest an endless supply of goo.

Upon playing the Sequel, you are greeted with what appears to be a familiar location.
Is the Sign painter still here?

Wait, what? you're not the sign painter?

WHAT?!

You're telling me the sign painter is gone!? Then who's writing these signs?!

the fact that the levels are so similar that it feels like I'm playing a carbon copy of World of Goo but with sticky goo. Who was this game intended for?

It feels like Tomorrow Corporation lost their touch.

Imagine if you played World of Goo 2's music over World of Goo.
Do you truly believe it'd fit and hit the same?

How was this soundtrack even approved?
The Remixes feel inferior in almost every regard.

It's almost as if World of Goo 2 is not a new game, but the soul has been stripped off it.. Where's the soul? Where's the originality?

World of Goo 2 feels like a total nostalgia trip, but not in the good way.

It feels like a clone of the original, that tries way too hard to replicate everything—from the levels, to the settings. it doesn't even come close to capturing the magic of the first game; Of course a Sequel was never going to be better. After all, you can't top perfection, and that remains true to this very day. The sequel was never gonna surpass the original.

World of Goo 2 was a mistake.
