Just copy your pk0.pk3 file to ~/ and the install the ioq3 engine and run it with the pk0.pk3 file and you have a Linux version for yourself.

http://ioquake3.org/

Enjoy!

Q3A never supported Linux. It only supported Linux when the id Tech 3 was released to the public. That's why when I'm on Linux I run it via ioq3.

Then why are you shouting about no Linux version and laughing at me? Copy the pak0.pk3 off your CD and run it with ioq3 and stop whining if they don't release a game you already own that runs fine.

1: I'm not flaming.
2: Do you understand the term of "flaming"?

Bethesda own id right? Unless Bethesda go to the trouble of making it work with Steam on Linux or Mac or a toaster, you wont get it. So my advice is go send them an email and start telling them there is a market for Q3A on a toaster.

I don't believe I said any of that.

I'm an experienced UNIX user of about 10 or more years now. So I know the difference between Windows and Linux. I gave you information on how to procede and I considered "toaster", a good choice for wildcarding system OS's as you can install Linux on a dead badger (google it).
