Can't load custom maps (SOLVED)
Whenever I try to load a custom map, I get the error "could not find map maps/mapname.bsp". I have tried this with the pk3 files packed and unpacked. I am running the game on the 1.32 patch.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was just installing them wrong.

Hey dude,

I'm new to Q3 Arena myself, and in replies to questions like yours I found people saying that custom maps need to be downloaded from websites, like this one: http://ws.q3df.org/

Hope that helps, as I'm having the same problem (haven't tried downloading maps yet). Let me know!
