Huh. That's funny, becasue i play as Klesk, exactly in that colour, i like that character. But pardon me, what is the difference? I open your link and the first thing i see is a standard blue-ish Klesk model. Or am i missing something? What's the difference between Flisk and Klesk, the reaction time?
Now, a question for you; which map was the most entertaining and challenging for you excluding The Very End of You? In my case, I loved fighting against Hunter in her map (was it Dueling Keeps?)
Well, that's a very good question, thanks for asking. So, yeah, Hunter was a nightmare indeed, almost as hard as Xaero, but not quite. I don't know how i managed to beat her after so many times i've tried. In fact, i found almost all one-on-one maps extremely difficult on Nightmare except Uriel, i defeated him pretty fast. Klesk was very tough to beat, Anarki was a very tough one, even Phobos, the very first map surprised me very much in terms of difficulty.
The most entertaining map definitely was the one with BFG and a long water tunnel, it was an easy one, loved it. All because of the BFG, it was no problem at all.
Also there was one map that i've beaten AFTER Xaero, i don't remember its name, but it had a considerable amount of enemies on it, it was one of those space levels, but after defeating the boss i was in such a rush, i just went there and won after a couple tries. That other space level posed a very difficult challenge, the one with a small jump platform with Railgun on it. By my own statistics, if i stayed on the common ground there, i lived 5-10 seconds in general before being torn to bloody pieces by Major most of the time.
1) Get a near-perfect aiming (especially with the Railgun)
2) Learn the map layout and the bot routes (to gain a tactical advantage over them)
PS: another important rule is to know how to move (bhopping and rocket jumping are the two classic methods to move faster)
Same thing with Xaero. Xaero will ALWAYS go for the railgun and ALWAYS use the railgun when possible, and playing on Nightmare he will NEVER MISS. The trick to beating Xaero is to keep him from getting the railgun. If he spawns on your pad he's pretty easy to kill if you peg him while he either goes for the rocket launcher or hits the bounce pad, so long as you peek out, shoot him, and peek back behind a pillar to avoid his machinegun shots. If he goes for the railgun and you have enough health you can actually get between him and the railgun and gauntlet him pretty easily.
If Xaero spawns on the opposite platform that's a bigger problem. You're going to have to peg him twice with the rail to kill him before he picks it up, otherwise he WILL hit you with his first shot. You'll either have to accept getting hit once at that point and peg him a second time before he fires again, or you're dead. At that point hope that you respawn on the same pad he's on and can get to the rocket launcher or rail and stay out of sight before he hits you. Don't machinegun him unless you've hit him once with the rail already and he's not picked up any health orbs. If he has his back turned he's a sucker for a gauntlet hit if you wait to press fire until you're on top of him. If he goes for the bounce pad into the air from the same platform you're on you can rail him before he hits the second pad that goes to the BFG, but once he hits that second pad he'll be facing you and rail you. If you don't have the rail yet, hide behind a pillar and shoot the button to drop him, or alternatively, let him get the BFG and rail him. You can dodge the BFG shots easier than the rail.
Bots alone are predictable. It's when you get in a big fight with several bots that it becomes problematic - especially on maps where it's easy to get shot in the back. Any bot that favors hitscan weapons - railgun, lightning gun, and shotgun - are going to be more problematic than bots that favor rockets and plasma since rockets and plasma are not instant hit. Learn the favorite weapon of each bot, and learn to hit as accurately as you can with the rail.
