Some mods/skins don't work?
been having an issue with some mods/skins that don't load on either the Player Model or the Bot Select screens. Specifically the Bender and Samus Aran models. Any suggestions on a possible fix?

Try to increase heap memory value. Add/edit this line into your q3config.cfg (or better in autoexec.cfg)
seta com_hunkMegs "512"

Bender is working out of the box, Samus doesn't even have the model inside of it, it's either incomplete or broken.

Some models like my harley quinn skin need additional folders in the baseq3 folder. It seems to apply to skins that aren't recolors of base quake characters. When I download a skin I always try and read the readme.txt and see if I need to create a folder within baseq3

So I just learned that there's a limit to how many models and maps you can have downloaded. You can only have so many character models before they just stop loading. It feels like you can have about 8 pages before you hit the limit. Sorry if my numbers aren't very accurate I'm still figuring this game out

com_hunkmegs should be set at the command line during program load, not the config: quake3.exe +set com_hunkmegs 512

Try running with +set sv_pure 0 as well if you're just playing against bots. That should ease up the .pk3 hashing restrictions a bit.

No luck. Typed both of those commands in the command line at the main menu and in-game and nothing doing.
