Consola de comandos no funciona

Hola a todos, veran quiero arreglar el problema de "Hunk_alloc_failed", buscando en internet dijeron que ponga un comando en la consola pero la consola no sirve, estoy apretando "~" y no sale, revise en "q3config" esta todo configurado y NADA.

Por cierto estoy usando ioquake3 porque quake 3 vanilla NO funciona en windows 10 asi que...si alguien tiene una solucion por favor digamela, gracias

Create a text file named autoexec.cfg inside SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Quake 3 Arena\baseq3 directory, open it in notepad and put the next line into it:

seta com_hunkMegs "512"

then save it and the problem should be solved.

muchas gracias amigo, se arreglo mi problema sobre el error de "Hunk_alloc_failed" no podia iniciar Q3DM6 debido a ese error, ¿de casualidad sabes como como puedo arreglar lo de la consola?

Add these lines into your autoexec.cfg. This is default setting though, it supposed to work out of the box.

bind ` "toggleconsole"
bind 0x7e "toggleconsole"

If that's not working then maybe try to bind it to yet another key.

me di cuenta de que tengo varias carpeteas que contienen muchos q3config, ademas...¿porque no se modifica el archivo de ioquake3? digo...cuando instale ioquake3 reemplaze la carpeta baseq3 vanilla pero no surgen cambios

Each modification of quake 3 has it's own q3config.cfg, for example defrag, cpma, team arena (missionpack directory), etc etc. Baseq3 directory is reserved for basic Q3A game, regardless of vanilla engine or ioquake3, they both use data from that directory.
