no cd-key HELP !

Just ignore it, you should be able to just esc out of that and get to the menu.

Your CD key: go to your library and click Quake III at the far right links one is called CD-Key. But I've never need to use it.

On Option it says "No valid key". Any thoughs?

i have the same problem it dont let me play anymore in servers i tried to get the cd key i have on my library but still says no valid key

What Baggy said. The CD key needs to be entered in all lowercase to be valid.

The CD key is needed to play on any server that has the variable sv_strictauth set to "1". A server with that setting will contact the Id Master server and check a hack of your CD key against the list of valid CD keys. If the key is invalid you'll not be able to connect. A server not running sv_strictauth "1" will allow any copy of Q3A to connect.

As soon as i get home I'm gonna change it to lowercase

I just had the same problem and when I changed it to lowercase it said they key was valid

Same, but it constantly pops up for me everytime I leave a match. If you just hit Esc it will still work fine.

Yeah I'm having weird problems with this game. Every time I start it up it asks for my cd key at some point and so far I've only made it into 3 servers but one of them just had a couple of bots lol. I might try it later and see if I have any better luck.

It works fine. I changed it to lowercase and now I can play online. Thanks
