Seriously, what is up with these guys? As single one converts me to pieces faster than any boss I have met so far. A couple of them together basically one shot me. This is the most dangerous enemy in the whole game.

Piercing resistance, you need more.

2-3 of them will really mess you up early on unless you have a way to close in on them quick. always take out the healers and the range first!

Haven't even checked defenses yet, will do. Thx.
I couldn't agree more. That must be a joke from devs or bug, or maybe just balance issue.

Nope it's a skill issue. You are not ready, as Kratos informed his son.

🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 I finished the game in the meantime. And really the only scary thing in all of this game were these archers.
pierce res, armour rating(increased absorb), and native dmg res(aether/vit/cold etc depending on archer) and archers start to tickle you
It's why checking those 3 stats is something to do before braving into ex Arkovia Undercity specifically can be handy,
- atleast with loads of playtime behind me i still personally do that/view char page 1 tab at a "pre archer"glance

edit.
the tricky part is when/how fast you access Act2,
since cronley bois and Arkovia undead can make that stat check way more cumbersome at lower levels if unaware, where those stats arent' as naturally sorted, and require more manual attendance

Sure, but you all are missing the point. when Skeleton archers are more scary than bosses something is off.
they aren't more scary is my point
it's just that you encounter them potentially so early/at a point where your stats aren't "natively" set up for them specifically
Meanwhile the early game bosses that you encounter around the same time isn't set up the same, since they dont' die in 1hit, if they had the same potential dmg output they'd become an incredible tough hurdle to overcome
Meanwhile "later", archers tickle you; but bosses wont (atleast not to the same degree)

*by comparison try look for complaint threads about later game stuff, you'll find a ton more complaints about Nemesis, Zaria, Aldric etc
"my build is strong but they 1shot me and other bosses dont' hurt as much"

I walked through the area like a sunday stroll. Really I played a good part on veteran because it was too easy but stopped because I got bored with the extremely over the top tanky bosses.

After I finished the game I just want to leave a final verdict. The game is fun but ultimately too boring and the balancing is not right.

I enjoyed it but I wont sink hours and hours into it like I did with other games of the same type.
i'm not demanding/asking you to, just noting how things swap later
and nothing wrong with your verdict either, nor are you alone in that sentiment (part of why we can skip to Ultimate earlier than before/people requested access to more challenge, Sunder got added etc), some find GD too easy, too simplistic, - and some find it too hard, even on Normal, and early game stat checks or surprise high stat checks is def part of that "to or from"score

The undead trash mobs is one reason why I like the Aether / Fire Defiler so much.
Pierce resist at 80% plus, Normal, Elite, and Ultimate you could walk through the mobs and they fall as fast as a Priest casting Holy on them.
Sadly, the Defiler is not a great class at fighting Nemesis and Stronger Bosses.

I know you already gave the verdict of not caring for GD.
The big thing is knowing the primary damage types for the areas you're going into and maxing that resist for that area. Other damage types are in those areas too, but there is always a primary one.

every *class* can slaughter Nemesis etc, just lean into its strength(s)
All classes might not be equal in amount of good builds they have available, but the great thing about GD is every class is viable and have at least a couple of decent builds possible
(so that they can clear content and isn't left out of the game)
