Warden Krieg achievement

There's an achievement to slay Warden Krieg being below level 11, which I just did but xp for him filled my xp bar so much, that upon his death I hit the level and... no achievement for me. Are you kidding me game??? What a troll achievement...

if you really want the achievment just use SAM it's legal, legit and steam approved.

achievment are worthless being the main cause probly.

I appreciate that you are trying to help, I really do, but I care very little about if it's legal or not, what's the point of having an achievement if I haven't "achieved" anything. To me achievements are one of many things that motivate me to play some more runs, try different builds, increase difficulty and so on...

known "issue", well suppose it might not even be an issue but just how it works/accidental collateral effect
it's why you see guides about this achievement often mentioning you should do this as early lvl 10/xp bar low so kill xp specifically can't bump you over
sadly nothing todo but redo the run
*keep in mind if you're on softcore(not HC exclusive achievement) means you can safely death cycle until your XP bar is back down towards the beginning (iirc krieg kill gives less than 50% hp bar xp at lvl 10vet?)

i read your post and i believe you were looking for that help since you well actually managed to get the achievment, at least that's how i understood it but didn't triggered because leveling 12 with the kill deny it, make sense that you should get the achievment.

well keep SAM knowledge in mind nevertheless, you never know whenever it come handy,

I know that's the most annoying part about it. If I died like once twice more before the fight, which at that level happens super fast, I wouldn't hit level 11.
Xp for Krieg was like 40 % of the xp bar. He was level 19. I killed myself like 10 times before I went to challenge him and hoped that's sufficient.
Luckily it's not really that hard to repeat the whole thing.

Actually the achivement description says that you are not allowed to hit level 11, which I unfortunately did. Still, such a stupid condition. I killed him being level 10 nevertheless, what difference does it make at the end... Troll achievement it is I am telling you

I killed him at level 9 just to be safe (on Xbox mind you) with a demolitionist and grenado. It was intense but fun. It doesn't take that long to do. You can run through on normal and then when you get the laboratory waypoint or if you're using the merits (if you have the dlc) just go there when ready and then save and quit and change the difficulty to veteran and go battle him again. Good luck if you try again! And sorry that you got burned out of your achievement.

I did it using Shaman with the insect swarm. Quite easy if you skip everything and ONLY kill the absolute minimum you need to get through tight spaces
