HEALTH REGEN OUT COMBAT OP
Hello please nerf the health regen buff lol, i understand & suggest u guys keep it in the first difficulty & on like for example the first hours to welcome beginners with the mechanics.

for example from lvl 8 the health regen buff when out of combat disapears, now its 3 sec not in combat & ur health is fully restored , i just lolled when i saw that:p :

So feedback suggesions are following:
Remove health regen out of combat buff afther lvl 8.
Now ur regen buff get u max health in 3sec. why bother on health regen items if this stuff does it already lol. so make it like 3regen/s (the out of combat regen buff)or someting lol (afther beginners area).
I will keep posting suggesions & feedback.
But for so far the game looks like realy good lol. maybe better then d3, the effects sure are lol.

No, this would be insanely boring if you survive a close fight with a max 3000 hp just to have to sit around forever.

They do heal but at a slower rate srom what I have seen. Unless I was crazy.

The game set it that way since when you are out in the field,health potions rarely drop so what you have is what you get. Plus it can be improved with equipment so if you have really nice equipment you might heal very fast out of combat.

I like the regen as is. Saves time and keeps the game moving. It is still easy to die in combat if yer not careful.

I like the regen, and what powbam said, Some mobs die in huge explosions and will hit you for an absurd amount of damage. Basicly you have to be careful in fights even with the regen, if that wasn't the case than i would be like, yes nerf the regen system please.

Idd but i suggest still to add more variation of potion or a potion merchant in every town or nearby every portal. cause like it is now. u just run and u heal even when ur in combat & u run u heal. I'm just saying what i think. if it stays this way i wont be sad or someting. but it just make sense 2 me to not make it so easy lol.

Better than D3 where is your armor doesn't have it and you are out of pots if you are in combat or out you have nothing except to drop what you are doing and head to town.

It was worse in vanilla pre-patch as champs and elites would recover all their HP in seconds after you left making them very hard to kill if you couldn't handle them in one duel.

This mechanic was added to get rid of potion-chugging; potions in Grim Dawn are meant to be used in emergencies.

It's easy to break combat and heal with a boss chasing you. That said, buying potions or waiting for slow out of combat regen is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring. We as a community do not need more boring games.

It's very easy to gear to a point where you don't have to kite bosses. Being able to stack menhir's will from multiple sources is way more game breaking then hp regen.

Would you rather have this game's difficulty defined by difficult fighting encounters or relatively easy fighting encounters that wear your character down by attrition over time?

Most people prefer the first choice because having more fights be a matter of life and death is more fun than returning to town to heal after clearing a dozen easy fights.

Kiting til regen kicks in is not a whole lot different then kiting til potions come off cooldown.

Disabling it during boss fights would just mean bosses end up as iron bit sinks until you gear up. Zzzzz

Not exactly true. As it is now, they have to account for it when they adjust the bosses difficulty. If they remove it, they can just adjust the difficulty.

I think the real fix should be done after they fix the mob line of sight aggression. Then not let you regen if there is a mob within a specific range of you in aggressive mode against you.
