And back to the actual topic, I may just do the same. ;)
The combat doesn't really involve me, but I love the setting & monster design. The colossus power is my favorite. Stomping smaller enemies was a blast.
Grim Dawn will probably not have the same production values; Iron Lore was a AAA studio with a full staff and the backing of a major publisher. Grim Dawn for most of it's development period was being made by 2 guys working from home with no pay.
Without Kickstarter the game wouldn't be anywhere near its current state. The KS funds are no doubt all expended, and Steam early access and website sales revenue is the only thing keeping the doors open. GD likely won't have any pretty cutscenes or much voice acting either due to Crate's extremely limited budget. That being said, I still think the finished game will be a very good one, and I hope, successful enough that Crate can do expansions for it, and also allow them to make more games in the future.
Same.
Ok..maybe I uninstalled it once or twice in the change of OS in the past couple of years. :P Titan Quest has always just been so enjoyable for me even compared to the newer ARPGs. I do think the setting was just most of it. Was such a pretty game, and even still is to an extent. Glad to see Grim Dawn at least takes what I enjoyed about TQ a lot with it. :)
