Build suggestions (Arcanist + Nightblade)
Hi everyone! i'm currently an Arcanist + Druid and it has been a blast, high damage (it's my own build so far no internet no nothing and I haven't had any issues) mostly based around cold damage and lightning.
However, i've been thinking about changing the Druid mastery for Nightblade once i reach the second DLC 'cause i love trying new combinations

This build i have in mind, is mostly cold arcanist but getting some fun stuff out of the nightblade tree, so you guys have any recommended skills from Nightblade (no dual swords cause i have low cunning, but maybe sword + shield or sword + off hand?)

Any tips are welcomed (: thanks!

EDIT: I know that to change masteries you need an editing tool, i'm aware of it and I plan to use it for that purpose.

You can't change your masteries ingame and there isn't a mastery called Druid, that's your class since you're playing Arcanist and Shaman. If you want to play Arcanist and Nightblade then you need to start a new character.

I forgot to add that i'm aware of the tools that let you change mastery lol
this is having that in consideration

honestly, outside of testing some stuff i always recommend starting anew game for drastic build changes, simply because building character from the scratch is way funnier than having a build already and only min maxing skill points

that being said i would build arcanist + nightblade either as dual wield with buffs from arcanist or as caster that uses survival kit of nightblade and his aura that slows down enemies

The only way to change your mastery is to use a 3rd party tool. Can't do that in a normal game.

Nightblade + Arcanist = Spellbreaker and are famously glass cannon characters. Most recommended builds start with Nightblade and use Amarasta's Blade Burst, Shadow Strike, and Dual Wield.

If you want to use an Arcanist skill, the best is probably Callidor's Tempest because it uses weapon damage. It's a strong skill. There is a monster infrequent medal that converts CT to cold damage. It's easy to farm this medal. For late game, there is Harra's set. There are some older build guides for this, but Grim Tools is down today so we'll need to look stuff up later.

If you really feel the need to experiment, just start a new character, game is literally designed for you to do that.

Using 3rd party tools to drastically alter your build is not really great when you barely had time to experience what you already have. There's a reason why you can't change the mastery selection in-game.

Compae, lo único que me interesa es cambiar el mastery. Ya que no quería volver a empezar otro personaje.
Saludos bro.

I understand your point, thinking about finishing the game with my current build (that is already a fun one) then starting a different one with a more experimental build!
Thanks!

Gotchu, thinking about that, maybe starting a new game with a higher difficulty and trying that, do I unlock the next difficulty once i get throught the regular campaign or I can do that at anytime?
I already beat the last boss from the main game and currently going thru DLC 1,
Normal difficulty + veteran

You unlock it for that character only when you kill the boss in the Necropolis on Normal. With v1.2 that will unlock both Elite and Ultimate. But if you start a new character they will start on Normal difficulty.

There are merit tokens that you can buy in the Forgotten Gods Conclave on either Elite or Ultimate once you get a character into those difficulties. You can then put them into the transfer stash for other characters to use.
