hmmm, Last Epoch is doing it on release but we'll see what changes are actually made
Was curious of new visuals, and graphics for the new content - not a whole new game. I love Grim Dawn and would love new visuals (AKA New Classes)
on a more personnal opinion matters, last thing i'll need is comparison with others title such as diablo or last epoch, exposure and fame is no proof of quality. grim dawn has the upper hand because of a dedicated independant studio such as crate, the people behind it took passion and time to deliver it and quality was, and still is present as of today.
on a pragmatic approach, a worthy update in the graphic , can, and should be expected with their futur projects, we don't know solid evidence, but we know that with the funding they got from GD, they have plan to develop an entire new rendering engine and look forward to a new game in the universe of grim dawn, likely an RTS, but is what we know much.
i say wait and see.
experience teached me that great start attract opportunistic behavior. blizzard made that mistake and look where they are now.
i wish Crate a different fate.
Broken Hills for an example. The map marker does not change from the guy standing next to the broken bridge and I had completely forgotten you have to go into the "undercity".
with radeon gpu you can use amd virtual super resolution.
i play a lot of old games, and when rendered in 4k they look pretty good.
exploring was half the fun when I first started - I normally notice if I go north it usually takes me where I need to go lol

I gotta look at how to add mods!
I've been meaning to add the rainbow loot filter but am in the middle of a move lol
Is this feature something you toggle in the GeForce experience program?
This one is just a file dump nothing major. It even works with modded game versions since its baked in to the main file of the game. Meaning you will get the visual upgrade from the GrimTex mod in any mod/custom game.
