"Protected folder access blocked" from Windows Security error

Strange new issue. Anytime I open up Grim Dawn, I get an error saying my %userprofile%\Documents is being protected and Grim Dawn.exe is trying to make changes. Which makes sense.

However, this isn't grim dawn's fault. Looks like a new Windows update kind of messed up a few things. Seems any games saved into the Documents folder (which isn't many) is giving me this error message.
Otherwise, Grim Dawn runs perfectly fine and even saves just fine.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is running into this issue, or if it's just me.

Not a problem for me. Is this Win10 or 11?

Exclude the game from being checked by any anti-virus programmes you have, that might fix it.

But yeah, just odd this problem suddenly started appearing. I'll just exclude it, but was just more curious if anyone else was having this issue.
