skill point??

So been playing a little and spend some skill point. was out doing battle and wanna spend my new point and no the game Reclaim point and not spend so i am totally stuck and can't find any help anywhere about this error???

just open your skill book/skill tree and put the points into mastery bar(bottom)+skill, then simply close the book
just don't click the undo button

i did at first as i wrote, but now when i try to use point it take it away so class locked, and 20 point i can add as it is stuck in reclaim all the time also that starskill system do the same.

are you using the spirit guide or something? - because you dont' use that to activate skills

same for devos, unless you actually hit the undo button, even if you hit ex Escape allocation should stick

if it doesn't do that, unsure if you could take a screenshot or record the interaction?

maybe i can ask in another way. how can we turn reclaim skill point on and off. i simple never seen and skill point normal is quite strait forward press and use point and reset to get point back. but i do not press reset or undo. when i type on a skill point it simple reclaim my point ( well it used to now all my skill's is 0 after trying everything) :(

there is no reclaim after investing+closing window; unless you're at the spirit guide - and you should not be at the spirit guide to invest points but only to reclaim

hence why i'm asking for screenshots or video: because there should be no reclaim/it's not normal there is a reclaim function outside of spirit guide
if yours look any different than this https://imgur.com/a/pRnjhZY you're either at the wrong place (ie spirit guide when you shouldn't), or something is wrong and you should likely verify game files/reinstall or ensure you're not running an outdated mod

edit, and you naturally *don't* click the "undo points" button after you placed them, like in my pics, you just close the skill window

i don't know how to take screen shot but my game reclaim my skill point so i can't get to learn any skill with make it just hold mouse and fight normal all the time. the spirit board do the same so it is both board that is bugged at my game, tryed close down the game and ttry again and everything ( with is why i have 0 in all skill like a just spawned. even holding my mouse over the spend point the game say no point to reclaim.

if it says "no point to reclaim"; it means you're at the spirit guide "trying to reclaim" - and you should not be at the spirit guide when trying to *invest* points

check the video
you just stand somewhere, "not at spirit guide", open skill window, left mouse click on your unlocked skill (which you unlock putting points in mastery bar); after you're done clicking your points in, you just close the window

I hope this makes sense. You can't assign skills at the Spirit Guide. You can't reclaim skills and reassign them in the same window.

Reclaim skills at the Spirit Guide. Exit the Spirit Guide window.
Click the skills button on the toolbar, or press S. You should see skill tree where you pick skills. Do not go to Spirit Guide to pick skills.

oh my. how hard can it be to understand even tho people say i am in that stupid spirit guide. all point anywhere is the same. no option to spend point even tho i have like 25 to spend ( it say it on the screen) tho all it say when my mouse is over my skill it say reclaim, really wish i knew how to do screen shot. simple no one understand. even had a friend by that said to quit that broken game.

Well, it is kind of hard to understand, because your English is bad.

There is no way to reclaim skill points in the skills window. You have to be at the spirit guide for that.
Open your skills window (click on the book in the bottom left corner or press "s"). You need to unlock skills by spending points in the mastery (class) by clicking on the big plus on the bottom left. Skills in your mastery unlock after you have spent the required amount of points in the mastery.

If your skill window says reclaim, you are probably running a mod messing with the skill system.

did you click the video?

try to follow: the only place in the game where it will say "reclaim" or "no points to reclaim" is when you're at the spirit guide.
^that's why we're telling you to *not* be at the spirit guide, because it's the only place that tooltip will ever appear

and if that tooltip does appear when *away* from spirit guide, assuming there is no translation issue misunderstanding, something is very wrong and you should verify game files or reinstall

otherwise if you want more or better assistance i'd highly suggest you google how to record your screen for sharing

i posted a video for you to see how it *should* look and how simple it is in normal functioning game, so if yours is not like that, kindly try provide some means to showcase or relay that, because what you're saying is conflicting on multiple levels

I know you are not asking this, but I thought I would add it for beneficial information.

There are two different ways to spend skill points.
01) The bottom bar of the class you picked. The bar that has a + symbol on the left of it. Putting skill points on it will level up that class, but, once you spend skill points on it, those you cannot buy back.
02) The different skills of the class you picked. Putting skill points in those will give you that skill and make it better the more skill points you put into it, those you can buy back.
