Player base has risen!

This is actually awesome to see. GD has had a steady 8k+ players on steam this past week, is it because of poe2 or new players have found the game?

i guess its the christmas sale and everyone is trying it out over the holidays. so new players coming in, because 3-4 bucks for the basegame is a nobrainer.

I had a friend gift an EA key for POE2 and after I did one run I was looking for something more (POE2 needs more time to cook) and a ton of the people I met on here and reddit had Grim Dawn or mentioned it.

Just coincided with the crazy low price for the sale and here we are.

Even saw a post on Reddit where someone gifted a copy of Grim Dawn to all his steam friends and it was over 100 people lol.

Game is DOPE. Living up to the hype so far

gonna say the like 3$ sale likely helped a ton. its why i bought it and all expansions and support packs

GD seems to get a boost every time some shiny new ARPG comes out and people realize it needs more work to really scratch the itch - if it ever will. Combining that with the deep discount for the winter sale supercharged things.

I bought the base game years past during the same discounted sale. played with it for a bit and I ended up getting the 2 expansions and crucible mode dlc that very week, them 3 there are totally worth, you will be eating plenty for sure.

Mainly because the base game is dirt cheap in the sale so a lot of people trying it out. Has hit over 13k during the day the last couple of days.

probably going to sound odd, but I never even heard of this game until i saw it in the steam sale. The time period the game was released was a catastrophically bad period for me economically. It has been a pretty enjoyable game so far.

Poe 2 brought me back to GD. Because GD is just the best ARPG

I had never heard of the game before the 3€ sale. Glad I picked it up. It's not worth the money, it's worth much more.

I've been a solo player for the longest time in GD, (clocked in over 500 hours) not many of my friends have the game, or any at all for that matter, and I once decided to see what playing multiplayer was like, I started a sort of new character, and someone whose username was really funny (forgot what it was) Was just so nice and considerate to carry that character from level 10 to 40. I love the game but the community is also really wonderful. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to add the guy, but it just goes to show you how nice and helpful everyone is! :)

I have pretty bad crashing issues with PoE2 so I decided to take a break until its fixed. Then I stumbled upon Grim Dawn and have over 50 hours in already hah
