This game is way too cheap for what it is offering

Been eyeing some arpg for a while,especially poe. but the complex skill tree makes me scared. I have been wishlisting grim dawn for the past few months but only bought it a week ago.

I have just finished all the dlcs and the base game and im very suprised at the amount of content i get for $30.

the atmosphere, the enemy model , the story and everything is very commendable.

My only regret is not picking up this game earlier.

As someone who never played any arpg before, this is the best introduction to this genre

its just sad seeing people trying to lowball an already cheap and high quality games while easily pulls out their wallet for a 15$ battlepass

i really enjoyed the forgotten gods dlc. sure cant wait for the new dlc. i really have no expectation for the expansion because snow biomes=fun

Funny you should mention racing, because I just ran my latest character from the Blood Grove rift to the Darkvale Gate rift because I didn't feel like spending the time to kill any of the trash in between. Took me 60 seconds instead of 20 min of game time.

How common is it to just run past stuff to get to an area that has enemies challenging enough to be worth fighting?

Regular trash can spawn Nemesis bosses if you have reputations, which can be challenging. But yea, i mostly hunt and looking for hero monsters to kill. Also depends on your difficulty and I highly recommend buy merit( requires forgotten gods) that allows you new char start on ultimate. Well there you wont be racing, maybe for your life.

Well it doesn't really get that hard till you get to ultimate, and even then probably only bosses can kill you if you made a proper character. Kraval I think is the spookiest boss that's not a superboss

hey man,while youre here, can you send a warm regards to the developer that made the Forgotten God DLC? the world/surrounding is absolutely immersive and beautiful, the enemy model was very unique and i like how theres footprint when i cross the desert

I agree completely.

I first bought the game in Nov 2016, I think about nine months after it came out.

Just yesterday (nine years later!), I bought the Definitive Edition, and I've been having a blast. As I said in another thread, other than Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, I haven't been able to find anything that compares to the fun here.

Plus, a banging soundtrack. The AoM soundtrack, for example, is very different from the one in the base game.
