Your most powerful character - Ultimate

What is the most powerful build you ever played? Has to be on ultimate though.
I've had some real stinkers on Ultimate from level 1, that kept getting their asses kicked.
This one, however, my Spellbreaker is mopping the floor with enemies. Bosses too. I'm hardly getting killed at all now and my damages and skills are hardly maxed.

since ever after 200hours(not spent much as others) my best build is storm druid.
i may think to give a try to spellbreaker.

Probably Trozan druid. Her damage was absurd, and she still holds my highest Crucible score among 19 characters.

Switched her into Ludrigan totem build though. Was waaay to squishy for me to play comfortably.

Second place is definitely Mageslayer mage hunter, purely due to his ability to stunlock bosses.

I don't think it's my most powerful, but you asked about inquisitor the other day and this one I did recently. I just done crucible 150 gladiator and collected my reward with him, so it's certainly not a bad one. It's just gear I farmed/found along the way and I've just noticed I could put a couple more augments on, so it could definitely be optimised.

best way to ...., pick your skills and farm warden krieg.till level cap.than make your decision.

I had a hard time with an inquisitor, I mean I used one on ultimate but he got killed often and didn't do enough damage. I was leaning on the shaman side more in the end.
Is that oathkeeper too? I tried one of those with occultist was probably one of the worst I ever played, I obviously wasn't doing something right.

Usually on Ultimate from level 1 Krieg stage 2 kills my character a lot. This time I don't think I died at all, maybe once.

Fire damage is easy to find stuff for, so it's a good build to try, have a look at craftables, I think there were a few I made along the way.
I started as Oathkeeper and just put points into mastery and Righteous Fervour and 5 points into Smite. Then Inq, putting 5 points in ranged expertise and Bursting round. Finished off mastery to Oathkeeper, putting a few points here and there, before finishing Inq mastery and then concentrating on the skills.
I try to finish the masteries before lvl 50 and the main attack (Righteous Fervour) finished asap. Haven and rebuke are good to invest in if you are struggling I found as well as seal. But that was my overall levelling stratergy.

I wish armor augment level requirement was dropped to 50 on Ultimate. For those of us playing from level 1, we suffer resistances until level 70. Have to make do with my gear, a few components and the odd ring or weapon augment to boost resistances
The way this is, better gear can't be used since I'm looking at gear that improves my resistance more
The game assumes you will already be at level 70 from the start of ultimate

Retal warder, retal warlord, or conjurer pet build. Retal warder did the most damage (1.8mil in one hit at its highest), retal warlord was a tanky beast that could tank the maggots on the way to crate of entertainment, and still did decent damage, felt super safe even in SR75, but i had a couple really good triple rare MIs. Pet conjurer was actually able to kill crate a few times before it finally killed me. Massive damage, feels safe, pet builds are OP.

My Spellbreaker is making Ultimate feel like Elite, but one thing I'll say is there's not a whole lot of gear for a spellbreaker I've seen. Not a lot that shares Arcanist and Nightblade
Maybe I'm missing some stuff and blueprints but its pretty bleak

Still in my first playthrough. Necromancer Cabalist? Can't recall if those terms are correct but I'm focusing on summons. Seems to work well in late game, was running away a lot in the early game.

Cabalist would be Necromancer/Occultist I believe

The reason I said ultimate only is you really find out if your build is working on it. Especially if you start at level 1. After you do the first few quests you're at level 30 and progression slows down but I feel if you have enough gear that's a good starting point.

I remember I restarted this game a few times. In the early game I didn't have many abilities to burn off mana and obliterate the sprites. It wasn't until later I started using more item powers in the early game that I could get to the first boss.

Now I'm in mid game and heading North West I got more powers to play with. Its much smoother to make progression.

I have been toying around with other builds but Summoners the best for me, i want to focus on looting whilst I let the minions do all the work.

Not sure if it's my "strongest" but it was the most fun for me. Level 100 Commando built around on-block abilities. Started it prior to Forgotten Gods but did that on Ultimate after it came out. Pretty sure it's my only build to beat all three difficulties but I'm an alt-a-holic and like making characters more than finishing the content. I do have a level 91 lightning shaman build, don't remember the other class I chose.

After a few attempts I finally finished the game on ultimate with a Purifier (Demolitionist/Inquisitor). Using a Hellborne Legendary Two-Handed Ranged it was a lot of fun.

My closest is a L77 Warlock on Veteran but I just don't have it in me to play the game 3 times anymore.

I just enjoy creating alts in both vanilla and Grimarillion.
