you can rebind it on controller
either stop using steam config/stop overriding the ingame settings with steam config
or change it in steam controller profile config *this might require you wait for devs to upload/publish the new official profile for 1.2

Controllers themselves are LAME in the PC world. The game is designed for mouse and keyboard. Trying to play a real PC ARPG with a controller in my opinion is like cutting off one hand and then breaking two fingers on the remaining one.

Game plays great with a controller. In some ways it's more comfortable than M/KB -- and this is coming from someone who played Diablo when it was new. ARPG devs have gotten pretty good at coming up with solutions for controller play.

What do you mean by a real rpgs? There are plenty of real rpgs that where made with the controller in mind if you mean arpgs like these then yes mouse and keyboard is simply the better choice. Also I find this game easier with a controller with certain builds, and there is the exception that diablo 3 works great with a controller as well.

Fix for me was to start a new character, then loading up old chars. The old characters where still giving me b for an option in the UI. Creating new char seems to have updated the UI, now skipping over b, and carried over to preexisting characters.

I am using the default controller and not steam.

Whats lame is you using a controller for GD maybe have a tantrum and throw it at a wall a few times that will sort your controller issue out

LOL I've played more than 1200 hours of GD with controller plays just fine.
