Solael's Witchfire and Physical Build? Cadence Witchblade

So if I was doing purely physical Cadence build and started following a guide that says put 12 in Solael's Witchfire but all it adds is 15% attack speed. The chaos damage it does is minor and there is no conversion on gear. So I'm a bit curious why one would do that? I already had points in it but just seemed like the right thing to do. Would 12 pts be worth that attack speed? Or is the Vitality damage somehow helping me? thanks I did search around but didn't find much.

What else would you do with those skill points? Would it really be worth more than 15% attack speed?

I can't really say much without knowing more details. Are you talking about the end result or is this during leveling?

Cadence scale very strongly with attack speed. Uless you can find other sources to reach 200% AS, Solael WItchfire is worth considering.

Why physical if you already got a Witchblade character? There is an item, (the Servitor's Corruptor) it drops from the bigger insectoid mobs in the void. That axe converts all physical damage from Cadence to chaos damage. And thus it is improved upon from using Possession and Solael's Witchblade.

Why not physical? Witchblade gets to double dip on physical RR with CoF and Warcry without needing any special items to make it happen, so you can focus more on soldier side and just get CoF, witchfire, and blood of dreeg/aspect for support.

This might have been my first character and I had chosen Witchblade but found Stonefist at final boss and damage-wise it remained the best I found until I just found the Mythical version at level 82 so I decided to remain physical.

I recently found this build on official forums which works with some newer gear that gives Cadence some wider area. Now I'm a long way from having that level of gear and will have to do some respec on devotions but generally going this route.

aye that should work real nice, voldrak stick is real easy to farm up and will make your damage soar compared to stonefist
