Can't see loot

I started (re)playing the game today and its better than it was a couple months ago (obviously), but I can't see loot... If I have the option to Always show loot disabled, even if I press the Alt key, the items don't show and I can't pick them up.
Is this a known bug?

@Fendelphi - To be fair I've turned show loot off lately on mine and rebound the default keys to show it. He might also want to check his Keybindings and maybe change and reapply them to see if that isn't the problem.

If you check the B17 Changelog and the hotfix Changelog you will see they did changes and whatnot to the bindings and auto tooltips which may be a cause, perhaps something didn't quite stick. When I changed my bindings it didn't recognize it until I redid it.

I can understand why you would disable "auto item tooltips" as they fill up the screen really fast.
But for me, I would be more botherd if I constanly had to press the "show items" button every time I kill something, just to make sure that a lucky green or blue drop is not overlooked.

Ya it's slightly annoying but I'm adjusting. I was getting more annoyed from screen clutter in hectic battles I guess :/

I've tried changing the key, but it still doesn't work.
I'm used to always pressing the Alt key to see the items that drop, just like in D3 and POE! It's way better than seeing the names of items everywhere! :(

yes, I can... but I would prefer to have it disabled and see it only by pressing the Alt key, like it's intended.

The default keybind for show loot is 'Z'. If you'd like to rebind it the option is "Show Items (No Filter)" on the Keybinding options page.

Yes, the Z key works. but why is not Alt the default key, like in all ARPG games? (I changed it now, but still...)
And what do the other 2 "show item" options do, because I press the keys and see no effect.

Ok, I figured out what the show items (filter common) does. but what about "show item tooltips")

X shows better than white item loot, Alt shows item stats if you have "Auto Item Tooltips" turned off in options.
