Curse of Frailty after B28 - It no longer leaches energy??

Was this planned or an accident? If it was planned, this sucks, it ruined my Warlock build in being able to sustain. It runs out of mana very quickly when blasting Aether Ray even when Curse of Frailty is on 15+ enemies surrounding him... Running out of Mana when you are being piled makes the Aether Ray build a lot weaker...

TLDR;
Curse of Frailty used to have mana/energy leach before b28 which allowed mages to sustain. Curse of Frailty has been changed, and no longer drains energy. This isn't in the patch notes. I would like to know for certain if it has changed.

I posted this on forums, and it is confrimed by the dev. He wasn't very nice about it lol but what can you do... Rather making fun of me for "having to rely on an overpowered game mechanic" and offering the new edition of Devotion as an ultimate solution.

Not buying that lol, I'm just taking all points off of Curse of Frailty and putting them on something that is actually of use.

Alrighty, well I'll have to look into the devotion system. They're the developers, they should know what's balanced and isn't I suppose.

Yeah that's what I said on the forums. They obviously have a much better idea on what is balanced an what is not. Still, it does kinnda suck though.

What wasn't nice about it? All he said was there are an abundance of other methods to increase your energy/regen.
