Where can I get more Aether Crystals?

I made the mistake of combining most of mine into shards before I knew a number of recipes would require crystals instead of shards. Will there be enemies that drop shards later on, or am I SOL?

Go back to previous areas with lots of Aetherials, like the act 1 area. Plenty of crystal drops there.

You can still get crystal drops from completed areas? Good to know.

As long you under the 10 levels difference items will drop. (ex...you level 40, them 31 or higher)

If you're playing on veteran it may be worth to go back to normal (at least as long as you farm the crystals) as shards sometimes drop instead of crystals on higher difficulties.

Hmm , that makes me wonder if you can use the apprentice in DC to blow up shards to get crystals, anyone know?

I just checked and no. It's still a no for clusters.

These are the best places to look

Wardens Laboratory I find to be the best for farming crystals. Can get about 8 - 10 in a less than a minute and then restart the server to do it again.

yes.from the warden laboratory rift go backward,lots of crystals there.thats most eficient way from what i can tell

If only we could grow a literal crystal farm. But alas that sounds like a silly mod idea.
