What is the best devotion for a gun-demolitionist?

What is the best end-game devotion to go for, and what are some of the best stops on the way?

I remember that Kraken is quite good for a two-handed ranged demo-build!

It looks like if I go for the kraken I won't be able to take end-of-the-line devotions beause there's no "end" devotion which is blue and green. and I don't want to take chaos :)

Kraken seems mostly cold damage while the demolitionist class seems mostly fire damage, does it interrupt or boost or how does it work?

Huh? I can't see any cold damage in Kraken. It has total damage and pierce damage only. Are you sure you're looking at the correct star?

Kraken definitely seems worth it. I like the top-rightmost end-devotion :)

Yes you can do that at the spirit guide, same NPC that resets skills!

If you're going the fire damage route, besides Kraken, you'll want to grab the Solael's Witchblade devotion. It has Resist Reduction which will make your fire damage even better.

Always take devotions with resist reduction for your main damage type. Kraken is almost obligatory for any 2-hander. Hydra is sometimes better for ranged builds that want more critical strikes. It also fits better with fire damage affinity colors. It's possible to get fire damage constellations with both Kraken and Hydra.
