Vendor Item Reset - Inquiry
What causes the vendor items to reset? Is it on a refresh timer?

I was literally looking over the stats of a weapon in Devil's Crossing (which appeared to be better than what I had currently equipped) when all of the items suddenly reset/refreshed to new ones. This isn't a huge deal - considering I can probably find something better later ... but it's still an annoyance.

Like D2 (and similar ARPGs) why not do this ... once you leave the area (e.g. town), the items reset/refresh at vendors ... rather than the way it's currently set (random/timer refresh).

Having everything change on you while trying to shop is a bit ... yeah.

Thoughts?

Ya, its on a timer for sure; I don't know how long that timer is, though.

But it refreshed while you even had the shop open at the time? Thats funky.

That's happened to me many times where it refreshes while it's open, never lost an item though. The vendor should say something in voice over, like I've got a new shipment coming a few seconds before it happens. That'd be funny. :)

I wouldn't call it funky, but I think it could be made into something more interesting.

Maybe funky wasn't the correct term. But can you imagine shopping at say, Walmart ... you're checking out a pair of sweatpants (making sure you got the right size, color etc) when all of a sudden they magically change into a loaf a bread?

Yeah. That's basically whats happening here.
