Fire Strike + Markovians Advantage?
I was thinking of starting a Demolitionist / Soldier and I was wondering how Markovian's Advantage would interact with Fire Strike?

If I have for example a fully skilled Fire Strike + it's modifier Explosive Strike(which triggers an Area of Effect explosion that includes a fraction of weapon damage) and Markovian's Advantage triggers, would the Explosive Strike still trigger causing the AoE it normally does? and if it does, would the damage of the AoE be increased considering the AoE does a fraction of "Weapon Damage"?

Markovian don't do AoE if you use ranged and Fire Strike won't do AoE if you use melee.
Oh I forgot to mention I would be using a ranged two handed weapon.

So the AoE effect of Explosive Strike wouldn't trigger at all on the attack that Markovian's Advantage replaced?
I've never tried it, but I believe it will explode as usual, with the same damage it usually does, with Markovian replacing the initial attack.
And your "Weapon Damage " doesn't change because of the attack. It only depends on the weapon.
I found the answer, well most of it, on the game's official forums.

I will link to that thread incase anyone else has this question:

To summarize, when Markovian's Advantage triggers it amplies the Fire-Strike, still not sure how it interacts with the explosion damage itself, but pretty sure it will still explode at least.
