inquisitor + soldier or inquisitor + Demolitionist (dual Pistol build) ?
I am thinking of a inquisitor dual pistol build and most people seem to either use soldier or Demolitionist, my first build right now already has Demolitionist in it but is a completly different playstyle so maybe I should switch it up but on the other side its just a complete different build.

For my brain I maybe like something like Necro + inquisitor because I like it "edgy" class wise than just being a soldir, old roleplay brain I guess, but I also just wanna have a build that is fun to use and good.

soo do you have some dual pistol builds that are fun ? gameplay wise, I also saw a cool Demolitionist + Occulist build but I kinda wanna use dual wield early and not too late but ya.
If you have a dual pistol build whats your favorite and why :) ? thanks

You already mentioned occultist+demo, this is one of classic dual pistols build on pure chaos damage, strong in damage numbers but kinda glass cannon

When can you start using dual Pistols with that ? because you are kinda missing the Inquisitor skill to do it like instant

You need relic to get ability to use dual guns, first one I believe in devil's crossing factions vendor, on lvl 25 or near
Lately in game you could find medals, belts and guns that allows you to use dual weapons without wasting relic slot
As soon as you get a belt or chest piece that gives you the ability to dual wield ranged - usually at L20 iirc. Or a Gunslinger's Talisman relic at L25.

If you want to go dual wield without Inquisitor, you can, as an example Marauder Belt enables pistol dual wield as soon as you reach level 20 and it's quite common item:

In general, lot of combinations work, Purifier (demo+inq), Pyromancer (demo+occu) are both perfectly fine ranged builds and pretty straightforward to figure out. Tactician (inq+soldier) would probably also work quite well, but I personally only tried that with 2h ranged build, but it should work mostly the same, you will just have to change the gear.

As for something more crazy, like Apostate (inq+necro) it should also work, but it will be harder to consolidate damage types, so it might need some deeper planning than previously mentioned builds.

I played DW pistol builds as Demo+Occultist, Demo+Inquisitor, Inquisitor+Nightblade.

My favourite so far was Inquisitor+Nightblade (Cold). These masteries provide RR for Cold/Elemental through auras, WPS, some nice buffs and passives. ABB is pretty strong as default ranged attack skill.

Occultist mastery almost inevitably forced me to use caster off-hand or even shield (for this juicy physical resist stacking).

Demo+Inquisitor for me was more fun as a grenadier.

My Soldier-based builds were always leaning toward 2H or Weapon+Shield.

ABB is not a default weapon attack replacer, it won't proc things like Bursting Round, etc.

It won't but it has a cooldown during which you can land several autoattacks that do proc WPS skills. Every n-th hit will trigger as ABB and proc Lethal Assault which will buff the other attacks. I didn't try it with ranged weapon, but it worked quite well on melee builds.

It works exactly the same with ranged weapons. After getting something like Shard of Beronath you can use ABB as a cooldown-skill, but before that ABB has very nice AoE every n-th attack and WPS proc nicely in-between if you use it as just like normal press-and-hold skills.

It depends on what goals you set for yourself.

I have this character: he clears the main content quickly. Very quickly.
But he will die simply because one of the celestials looks in his direction.
He even loses to John Bourbon.

Demo is better with most ranged builds, and has plenty of skills that focus on keeping your distance from the enemy. Plus Purifier is amazing with either fire or lightning damage types.

If you want to play a necro with guns there's also this MI https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/14220 that will enable dual wielding guns by itself, although it does aether damage (which necro has RR for) so you have to build around that.

Demolitionist / Shaman is pretty fun focusing on fire and lightning. Tons of support skills to go with it.
