Item Assistant and GD Stash

Just wondering what people think about both?

I initially installed GD Stash since there was more discussions about it and when I was looking for item management that was what came up first.

GD- Stash
I'm not really a big fan of cheat tools in games, but I do not enjoy not having enough space for my items. I find that the ease with which you can modify your character and give yourself items with GD Stash may cause me to use those features at some point. And, I'm not judging, if you like to add items and adjust your stats, more power to you. It's your game and you should be able to enjoy it how you want to, but I just want my items managed and nothing more. :)

Item Assistant
I love that Item Assistant just manages your items and I like the fact that once you set it up, it automatically takes items from the last bag in the transfer window. You don't have to import or do anything special. Your items get automatically sent to Item Assistant. Also the Windows in Item are much better for displaying information, and you can set the windows up how you want them. Also, you don't have to run Java for Item Assistant to work. And with Item Assistant, game updates don't break it.

Both tools are awesome and I'm glad the community has these options. Any thought?

I would put that "developers" team in Black List for pushing cheats during years, and would BAN them forever from any Gaming Services like Steam and other. They cant offer anything to normal players, instead of fixing ******* broken game, they were pushing **** cheats (GDStash) during years, because in this case they dont need to fix 100% broken game.

Never understand why people refer to GDStash as a cheat tool. Just use it for stash if that's all you need it for.

It's the equivalent of owning a car but then referring to it as a getaway car in a robbery, a car with which to drive as fast as you can in a 30 limit area or something to drive off the end of a pier and into the sea.

Just because it can be used for these things doesn't mean it has to be. Use if for what you need it for. Same as GDStash,

That analogy doesn't work. Can the getaway car also rob the bank? No...No it can't. One click in GD-Stash and you can rob the bank. Quite a big difference.

It's called a cheat tool because most people realize that eventually the temptation to use it will present itself. I had it installed for 2 days and the thought crossed my mind. I needed an item with some spirit, and I was thinking all I have to do is give my self some spirit or an item. That was when I started looking for something else, and removed GD-Stash.

like I said, I have no issue with anyone using GD-Stash, play how you want to play, but for me, I prefer Item Assistant. There is nothing in Item Assistant that does anything more that store your items. And, I like that Item Assistant just takes the items automatically.

Because you can use it to spawn in items you don't want to spend even more hours to grind for, oh noes. What a tragedy in a nearly exclusive single player game!

you call GDstash whatever the hell you want.

it is a tool that provide you with a way to enhance your game and allow you to enjoy the fun of your game even more.
we all have a different degree of definition for fun. but GDstash does not impede other people's game experience if you have an issue with it, it's well, your own problem.

on the other hand, if someone isn't capable of self controling himself with a tool, that doesn't make it right to remove said tool from everyone, in fact it damage people who can make use of it.

in short, if you can't control yourself, and your willpower , that's a you problem, not a everyone problem.

What is broken in the game? The devs say many a time this game is not a hoarder sim, they are not going to add more stash. They dont want more stash space in there game period. But if you want you are free to use any 3rd party/mod to do so.

So i like to know what you think is broken? And how the f does them not wanting more stash = okeying hacking. Also second modding/creating items in a singleplayer does not effect you, so why are you so on fire over this?

On topic, i use it my self. First i copy my toon, and then i rename them, and try out different builds.

If you use all it offers, it gets borring fast, so like real life self controll is key.
Some people lack it others got it in spades. In my book you can use it the way you want, as long as you dont play multiplayer and use it, unless you wanna reset your class since thats fine.

Then a toolbox, You can use a toolbox to rob cash registers atms, but its not inherently evil.
And don't blame your intrusive thoughts on the tool. If you ever feel the call of the void when driving a car, thats on you, not on the car.

Drop of green MI , materials and craft of items are 100% broken. And this is a core mechanic of the game or a part of core mechanic, because you need this to finish a builds.

* i have around 3500-3600 runs (kills) of Gollus on Hardcore Ultimate,,AND i got 0 (ZERO) result,,,,i didnt get any rings i was looking for. Do you know how much time is this? its around 140-150 hours when you just start the game , you rush to Gollus, you kill him , you see ♥♥♥♥ drop again, you go to main menu, REPEAT during 140-150 hours. And HAVE NOTHING.
* more than 1000 kill of Gutsworm,,still dont have medals i was looking for
* as min 1000-1500 kills of Harvoul , still dont have medal i was looking for
* as min 100-150 hours of farming crabs and traider in Groove still dont have a BELT a was looking for
* around 80-100 hours of farming traider in Chaos Dungeon, still dont have rings i was looking for
* i needed some bots (green) and gloves (green) with certain inscriptions from blacksmith,,,i crafted around 3000 times (total) didnt get anything,,,,,3000 times its around 100 millions,,,its a huge amount of money,,,,aND probably around 75% of all items were yellow.. I could just take 75 millions and drop them on the ground and quit the game in main menu,,would be the same effect. So after 5000 hours its ******not allowed to craft items you want even after a few thousands rolls.
* all materials have insanely low drop rate,,,only aether crystalls are ok.
* blacksmiths that can craft legendary items without recipes,,,,the price is super high,,,usually need around 8 rare materials to craft 1 legendary item,,so if you want 1-2 legendary rings you dont have, you mostly need some high amounts of rolls, like around 100 times, then you will have a chance to get it,,,,but 100 rols - it can be 800 rare materials,,,how much players there who can waste 800 materials? this is super expensive.

So instead of fixing all this broken ****, they just push **** cheat program,,,,,,but im didnt buy that game and DLC to use any cheats or any 3d party programs, same as other players like me, and as i already said all they can offer to normal players is NOTHING.

All they can offer:
- buy the game and DLC
- abandone the game, because drop is total broken ****
- waste thousands of hours and have nothing
- use CHEAT they push during years, and they even dont call this CHEAT, they call this mod or 3d party program.

Any FREE TO PLAY games has x amount of times better balance (fair balance) , (even free to play games always about heavy grind), comparing with GD.

Item Assistant is very nice to use, but the more I know GD the more I understand that unlimited stash space it's not necessary at all.

for stashing i prefer item assistant. i only use GD stash because GD defiler (which i used for character respec) doesnt work anymore.

Even YT content creators do use GD Stash to create builds, drops are very RNG and finishing a build requires a lot of dedicated time and luck, and trading as well but I doubt that the player base is large enough to get traded. I know there is trading topic on Crate forums but that's not likely to happen.
