I do think that at least one piece of that Guardsman stuff can be crafting by finding a recipe.
Thanks but that´s not what I am looking for.
If anyone ever used Defiler with TQ, there was a setting that let you determine the minimum rarity of gear the monsters were equiped with. Not only did they all drop epic items if you wanted to but it also got way more difficult because monsters use the gear they drop.
I had to farm a specific rare bloodsworn codex for an offhand recipe and according to Grim Dawn wiki, only specific occultists (caster types which makes sense) drop those. And it turned out to be true. Might not be true for epic and legendary items anymore but it certainly is for items with random affixes (magic, rare).
By the time you find everything, you've already found generic gear that's way better.
So far the loot has been disappointing. I get plenty of drops and some it's good. But not that good.
Defintely not worth grinding the set.
Maybe late game will be different or playing again at the next difficulty level.
But just meh so far on Epic anything.
