You should have access to some gear from the faction vendors at this point.
I see smart loot having its benefits, but I wouldn't want to have it in Grim Dawn. I made so many new characters because of some gear I found. Trying out new things just makes the game more interesting.
+4% elemental dmg
+16 spirit
+3,5 energy reg
+4% xp gained
9% reduced attribute req
+11% all res
Nothing came even close so far.
And I can't get more damage out of an item for example with +45% fire dmg and +54% aether dmg (elemental is my main dmg type fire and aether are secondary) but it's the best I could buy from the outcast vendor.
And yes I will play other Chars with other skills just because I want to use every great Item that I find but it would be nicer to find the stuff you want to use with the char you are already playing.
As a Shaman 90% of the drops I get are ranged weapons and shields.
TLDR: super happy with loot.
Storage totally full!!!!!!!!

How is this possible?
You could buy rings if you're not getting them, but plenty of quests have almost guaranteed green ring drops that are decent. Let alone almost every single major boss dungeon should give you 3-6 decent rings of which probably 1-2 will be relevant (might not be better than currently equipped, but I've always found them relevant).
ooops never mind, found it,somehow i switched off auto show loot, was playing for a couple hours now without gettign loot =o
Bottom left (immediately left of your HP) of toolbar there's a little rectangle thing that you've clicked on it cycles between normal, rare, epic, legendary visible loot etc...... click on it a few times.
You likely accidently clicked the toggle option on the UI to show only rare or epic items...check the UI and you should find where that is and change it back..
D3 before Loot 2.0 was worse than anything in any aRPG. They also worked on that system for a long time before they put it out. It's not a simple thing of a few numbers and let the engine handle the rest.
It's annoying at times to come across items that won't be of use to you, or a lvl 25 Blue, epic looking blade, but it has worse stats then a lvl 12 Yellow, plain looking blade. That's actually my biggest gripe with GD - Not that items aren't dropping for my particular build, but the higher quality items have worse stats then low lvl uncommon.
Exactly this, thanks a lot to both of you :)
