Never played a game with worse drop rate.

This is mostly a rant from me because I have a feeling the loot in this game finally broke me.

I have been playing this game on and off for 90 hours now and have gotten to lvl 74 on my main character, but in the last month i havent gotten ANY blue item that my character can use, and just 10 mins ago I got my first legendary item since around lvl 50-55 (cant remember exactly) and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ROLLED OF THE MOUNTAIN before i could pick it up.

Most of the reason I play games like these are that its fun building your character with loot and talentpoints, but while talentpoints are just a grind to get, the items always come as a suprise and you never know what you will get, but after days on end getting nothing I can use it just cant keep me intrested anymore.

Its a shame because the world you guys have built is REALLY good, with fantastic lore and setting, but im just so sick of grinding and getting nowhere exept experience that cant really help me anymore because all the loot i get has no use for me.

i could perhaps have posted in that, but i really needed to vent about my frustration, this game has been my podcast game since i got it, but the increasing frustration makes it hard to pay attention to what im listening to,

not like d3 ros is now that it rains legendaries i dont care i dont loot a leggy is a long time that makes a leggy drop all that more special

in short a legendary should be extremely rare

I really miss D2 drop chance were the powerful items (like Grandfather or Mang Song's Lesson) were extremely rare.
If this game has worse drop rate, then its awesome!!!
It makes drops to feel more rewarding!
I already bought the game and I can't wait for the official release!!!

i made a typo in my other msg i meant ofc d3 ROS (got d2 lod and d3 ros mixed up lols)

but d2 was indeed awsome i still have it but it acts realy funny on my w10 basicly unplayable :s

yeah my problem isnt that legendaries are really rare, but its mostly that i have had INCREDEBLY bad luck in blue items as well.

You guys realize that mindlessly grinding for 25 hours for 1 legendary drop does't make a game good, right? OP is not asking for free loot, but increased drops - and the devs have already said that they are going to increase drop rates in Elite and Ultimate. This is a single player game at heart, multiplayer was tacked on afterwards. You should be able to play relatively casually and gear yourself for ultimate - NOT grind for 100+ hours for 1 legendary piece of gear.

Grinding if not quality gameplay.

With official release devs said that loot table will be fixed heavily. Meaning that no dupes of items and better overall drops.Last update legendary gear was buffed with 40 % on ultimate so it isnt that bad. Try running SOT or BOC where you can always get at least 1-2 legendary drops.

Dam! Its still playable at windows 7. :P
But yes I know what you mean. I even bought D3 collector's edition + D3 ROS and I am hugely dissappointed from D3.
I am really glad that games like Grim Dawn exist and I will still continue to play my favorite genre.
Actually I have high hopes for it, I think it will follow POE steps, which means getting 2016 PC GOTY. :P

Oh, I know what you mean...
Bad luck is bad luck, no matter the drop rates are. It took me 6 months to get an item (T6 shoulders) from a raid boss in wow, while the boss had 33% chance of dropping it. The boss dropped it only twice and 10 people wanted it...

I might agree that this isnt my favorite genre, but I have played alot of titan quest, diablo and torchlight 2 and I feel like all the games was better at rewarding you along the way.
