At the moment, I have 17% physical resist, 492 armor rating, 997/1334 OA/DA, 325 hp regen, and 7% life steal as a druid with a two handed weapon. 13 deaths so far. A pretty average character for someone who has played the game before. My friend is a lot more squishy, he's a pet class (necro + arcanist). Maybe we got lucky with the crystal and we killed it by accident with AoE or pets before it fired off.
But ye, it is after that point where you really start to notice low resists. Aether resist reduction + aether rain from some enemies around that time. Skelly key dungeons coming up if you side with a certain npc.
One of the easiest fixes for awkard chaos resists is if you side with the necro bros. Clear out the faction hold east of the grove waypoint a few times. They drop these medals which have 30+ INNATE chaos resist. Get a "preserving" or "warding" can really help bump up some of those harder resists to max.
i'm already get over it and move on.
yea that area is where the resist check start.
Might be a triple chaos pools that he can spawn beneath you.
^👆 in general try to not stand in ground-jizz or puke pools
