Mythical Beronath Reforged in 1.2
Since automatic toggle of auras was introduced in 1.2 version of the game, is there a way to prevent Beronath Reforged's aura to trigger if a player needs the elemental damage of the sword, and not the damage conversion into physical?

And it's been pointed out over and over that Spelldrinker can fill that slot easily and works perfectly fine as a melee weapon, if not more so given it's 100% elemental damage.

And like I said, and will say again, you're getting irrational caught up on detail, so take a mental step back and sanity-check your take. Which I've found very useful myself and it's far easier to practice doing it on stuff like this rather than when the sh*t hits the fan and you wind up in a meltdown or worse.

The entire point of the weapon is conversion. Always has been and always will be. Without the conversion its just a stat stick and not a particularly amazing one. You'd be better off with a different weapon especially since you say you really only want it for the crit damage and offensive ability.
Nope. In one of the previous comments I have explained what makes the Beronath Reforged so good for dual wield Saboteurs and Spellbreakers. All you have to do is to read it.
I need to double-check, just to be sure. You do know that you can dualwield any one-handed melee (or pistol, for that matter), right? Doesn't need to be a sword.

I just can't shake the feeling that there's some fundamental misunderstanding here, and that it's not another potions-style thread...

Hoomans, lul

OP wants Beronaths for it crit damage bonus, Spelldrinker doesnt give that - Beronaths do, Spelldrinkers dont.

Beronaths had option to go elemental build or physical build, now that has been taken and now you are left with physical damage and those who used this weapon for elemental damage got Caca'ed, personally i would be very very.... sad. :v

Also... all other Beronaths items are elemental based so... big sploop.

Items like that should have their buffs work like pre 1.2.0, i cant see why it shouldnt ,,0h c4us3 Ón1v3rs4l'' - we need to be aggresive to OP, yes. /s

And now to OP i gonna pierce that echochamber of spelldrinker and give you even better advice, you should catch up all arcane pruple balls so build will work again... for a moment.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

/rolleyes

Bumping up crit damage isn't that hard as there's items, components, skills and devotions that help with that.

Who said its hard? lol. Its about how much OP can has crit damage on his dual wield elemental build and i dont know if there is someting that can gives you 16%-24% critdamage in both hands, with also a nice 24%-32% total speed, but you are free to search.
