Multiplayer Bugged with Shattered Realm

Encountered a bug with shattered realm as of 1.2.0.0, you can potentially softlock in SR if your co-op buddy finishes a chunk when you've just died so you get locked on a floor with no portal. I believe it has to do with the new instanced portals, so it won't spawn if you aren't in SR when it spawns.

The real question would be how did you manage to portal into a finished shard after dying instead of getting ported to the next one.

I think because my friend finished the chunk after I died so I wasn’t in when it finished, then when I took the portal in I was stuck with no way to get out. This happened twice, once to each of us. My friend was able to fix it by leaving and rejoining the session, but I was the host so when it happened to me I couldn’t fix it without losing all our progress.

It might have happened that I entered the chunk just as they were leaving through their portal and I didn’t realise or wait.

I also just encountered this glitch, I died on the boss and came back right as my friend teleported to the next level. Now I'm stuck here while he completes the next few levels. The portal should really stay there permanently in case this happens...

that should have been fixed in update 1.2.1 and hotfixed as per the patch notes at least

okay so funny thing: if your friend keeps going and encounters the same boss arena as you're stuck in, you are freed because he will load into your instance. did get an infinite loading screen about 5 minutes later so thats fun.
