Thanks flaming, but my question is, where is the place in the game where equipment and relics are farmed? Crucible mode? End of the campaign?
Doesn't matter at all as far as campaign is concerned, you can switch between the 2 whenever you want to. You could even take your current character into Crucible and run through the 3 difficulties in there if you want to.
Relics however are different breed. Why you may ask? They don't drop anywhere, blueprints for them do drop however and after you learn them you go to craftsmith and make one, it's expensive process but there is 1 quest revolving around Rovers faction where u can basically steal a relic so u don't do that thing for a while. But yeah, items and blueprints - they can drop basically anywhere aside some MIs and MIs are Monster Infrequents which only drop from specific monster (only few MIs don't drop in crucible like Outcast's Secret helmet or Kaisan amulets).
It will feel more rewarding, sure you can look up other concept of builds and ideas and some basic info like RR (resist reductions), focus only on one or two damage types, synegyse classes and equipment to full extent, but in the end of all things by doing this you will make mistakes but they will be your own mistakes.
Most vets also play around grimtools.com more than the game because it has 0 respec cost. You don't have to do that for now tho, however it still has checklist and monster skills/damages info and map if you need those kind of things. Pretty handy I must say.
EDIT: oh and many also recommend to explore every ich, that one depends on the person playing though.
Life is too short to play with regret! You can change class using GD Stash[www.nexusmods.com] tool.
With 9 classes giving 36 possible two-class combinations, it's not reasonable to level up 36 characters to find what you like.
Don't think of it as an either/or situation, use it to help farm some stuff, try some new builds, or to just take a break from campaign.
