There really is no one ultimate summoner build, and that's sick!

I haven't seen any summoner variety in any other games (and I'd like to, so if you know let me know) but when it comes to GD your summoner is still going to be occult/shaman, shaman/necro or necro/occult and even then the focus is going to be on your taste as maxxing all summons isn't possible.

Mogdrogen is not that difficult, Callagadra is boring and means running around for about 15 to 20 minutes, Crate I only did once on her. And I can't remember how I did it. If I remember correctly I pulled the boxes away in a room, lost personal agro and disbanded the critters. Then dealt with crate. Again not a fun fight.

That said, special quests are not included, But here I will clarify. All campaign content. Guess what? Almost anyone can clear the content in Grim Dawn(All difficulties) with that one or two button pet build. Regardless of what someone like you may think is trash.

It is deeply amusing watching the uhh "Elitist" vets /cry over such. What is the original name of this post? Why dont you stick to that instead of doing your best to attack someone. Where is your pet build. Share it bubb!

One thing I did that worked well was build a ritualist using a Scorpious Pummeller mace as a cornerstone since it converts pet physical to acid. Lucky enough to complete the Ghol set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icdf4zGJy0k&ab_channel=Worldz_of_Visions

Pet builds were probably some of the safest and simplest to setup for celestial fights, perhaps barring retal again ravager.
And while it might not count as self built then, but still to sorta highlight how strong pets could be done simply, Maya actually made beginner builds that could kill Celestials, even if maybe it wasn't in 2-5min clear speed like endgame setups.
Most meme'ing of all she did so too using Dark One set as a lulz bonus

not on the same level as on 9.8, but more importantly not as "lazy" or easily just thrown together with the same results.
Lots of pet builds that were completely casual before require a bit of tweaking or pilot consideration now
- as ex Maya even went as far as "retiring" several builds because didn't function the same level of "can be played drunk"

I really feel occultist needed a/some cat(s) over a hellhound. Like cats seem more occulty, hellhounds are infernal, it IS different. Like Who doesn't want to be a crazy cat character?

Cats will be a summon in a new class that comes out on dlc and also we can chose up to three classes per character.
