Whether or not X soulrend setup is working for HC i can't say, i'd imagine it could be relatively set up/tweaked to be decent for HC.
Otherwise just go with PB, stupid strong and stupid safe, the amount of leech you get makes you near immortal as long as you get enough defences against 1shots.
i don't remember when the last Morgo set change was (i'm assuming the soulrend build you looked at used that set?), but i think the heavy nerfs was more than 3years ago(patch 1.1.7), so a 3yo build might be relatively un-impacted
Alright, guess i'll try this soulrend build without the points on pets, might work better. Thanks !
And you MIGHT want pets. I had the skellies and it was fun (with tsunami devotion it was tidal wave mayhem with skellies) - anything is possible with the right gear. I was playing on Ultimate from level 1 too.
They're just telling you to meta, that's fine, but to me personally its boring as hell.
I'm not going to recommend someone "struggling"/unfamiliar with the content, while on Hardcore, and having a specific build/char comfort in mind, to just "wing it" or do something (way) less optimal, than what's otherwise easily doable to achieve with the class what's being asked of.
If OP is already looking at other premade builds for guidance, i'm very much assuming Kayderim want something deliberate and not just make things up, be it because of HC mode/not wanting to die, crossing of achievements or just looking for some form of established build performance.
And while the game most definitely allows you to play just about anything whichever way one likes, there is also most definitely a big difference in potential smoothness curve for that,
and sadly Nightblade just offers little to nothing to assist true pets like skeletons, which can already be fragile/tougher as pets on Ultimate to some people.
Died at that boss before the fort that transforms into a monster, went to 70% to 0 even though i had 80% resist, too bad my gear was not very good and i only had around 8k health. But at least i have my conjurer on hc elite yet, this time i'll go full pet build and keep my distance from every boss i come in contact with.
My R.I.P. on hardcore teach me that aether cluster and antifreeze salve must be on quick panel every time, without exceptions
Yeah, only in this run i learned out about the augments, now it is much easier to max out resistences so i can focus the devotion on more important stuff, the only problem is that i'm not finding any good gear, i've only found like 4 pieces of purple gear on my reaper (which are now gone).
When i get to ultimate, i'll do some serious farming for my conjurer and all my other characters if possible,
EDIT: Just killed the boss that killed my reaper, his name was Thall'Nosh, the Unraveler, looks like i'll finally reach ultimate this time
