No, there is not much gear with resists for pets. The good news is pet resists aren't really an issue until late game, level 70ish and above. Just be prepared to re-summon the pets one or two times during a big fight. There's not a lot you can do before that.
A few things you can do early to mid game:
--- You will get some resists from devotions.
--- Components for weapon and offhand are Purified Salt and Imbued Silver.
--- Look for green armor items with the suffix "of the Wild" and "of the Untamed" and prefix "Taskmasters". These will be random drops and maybe you'll find a piece at a general vendor. Faction vendors not so much.
--- There are a handful of blue items with pet resists, the big one for Conjuror is Mogdrogen's set you can use at level 72.
--- Bloodsworn signets give pets phys resist and drop only from Karroz in Darkvale Gate.
There are a few other nice MI's you can farm. Look them up in Grim Tools.
My level 61 build has only elemental resist and vitality resist from devotions and items. I also have a belt with some stun resist. Everything else is 0% resist except for the components. It's just not a big deal at this level
The level 100 has all of them at 80% except pierce. There's a whole bunch of good stuff that kicks in around level 90.
Curious question.
There was this one section I did with my Druid.
It was one of those areas where you had to make the key to get in.
I can't remember the area, but it was sort of clean city like.
I walked upon this one two step raised cement platform and I was instantly gated in this small area. Maybe 20 foot x 10 foot.
Massive powerful monsters spawned and stuff erupted from the ground like several fountains. My Druid took out about half of them before she died.
It felt like the Charon fight in TQIT, except I was fighting 8 Charon's at once in this spot in GD.
Can the pets of a Conjurer survive something like that?
NOTE: It is truly a question looking for all of your experienced answers.
I'd like to do more with this character than I did with my Druid. 😊
I personally pick devotions that add resists to pets. If u still die there, might want to look it up on wiki or whatever. I never look things up. But pets can survive & get by there. Also what level were you. Sometimes u need to wait & go back when better outfitted & leveled up.
My Druid was 74th level and specialized in totems.
I have read that the totems are nerfed now, but they were very good in 2019.
In any case, I'm hoping my Conjurer does much better.
Thank you Violesta
