Anyway, to answer your question, no there's no word on more stash space lol.
This. It doesn't take long to rush a mule through to complete the quests required to gain access to Devil's Crossing and the shared stash.
If you have the Forgotten Gods DLC, it also doesn't take long to complete the first Act (ignoring side quests) for each mule to then unlock the FG content and upgrade its stash space.
I actually forget how it all works exactly since it's been so long, but yeah I think all you gotta do is kill kyzogg to unlock the stash. He's the very first quest in the game, so it doesn't take long. The hard part is all the iron you need to set em up. Also, what I did just to try and optimize it fully, is go into the crucible for instant stash access, use the merit, then go into campaign, collect lore notes for instant level 11, make every mule a demolitionist, max out vindictive flame as much as you can for move speed. More move speed means you get to your stash faster lol. But of course that's very minor. (Look up "grim dawn lore notes start" or something to see what lore notes you can grab right away with a saviors merit. I do it on every new char so I basically start at level 31, but that's because I have lokar set and leonivus rings, and i made my mules before i had those, hence only level 11, and 31 also includes doing the scrap and aether crystal quests, and its completely unecessary for a mule)
If you don't have the DLCs idk what to tell ya. That's going to be rough lol.
• If I find a few Elite or Legendary or Super Rare (Rare, but extremely powerful) that would work together for a potential build, I create a character and make it run the 1st quest to access Devil's Crossing.
• Once the access with Devil Crossing is enable, I get in the Shared storage and put the stuff in the personal storage in order of the item's required levels and by item types.
• For items that aren't part of any potential build, I place them in the shared storage in levels' requirement orders.
• If I find an item that already exist in my shared storage, I compare the stats and only keep the one that seem the best . There's an exception for 1-handed weapons and rings which I keep 2 of each instead of just 1.
The habits of keeping every "Epic" and "Legendary" items you find (but already own) is a bad habit (mostly from other games) that almost never benefits you in any way since, in Grim Dawn, you can easily get whatever you need with a bit of patience and the right level as items are dropped based on the enemy type (for certain drops) and their level when slain.
I never needed any mule (purposely made only for the personal stash access) nor feel restricted by the amount of space just by following my 4 points above.
I might not fully advance the few characters I created to test a certain build based on the drops I collected, but it's always only a matter of time before I try them out. It's not always working, but even if I return the few items I reserved which ended up as a fail-build, I always have about 1/3 of the shared storage empty anyway.
They said they will not add more space.
I was just asking a question. You aren't the forum gatekeeper, bro. Who gives a ♥♥♥♥?
Also if you have completed the game to get merits. You do not have to level up a banker to get@ Forgotten Gods. Just use the merit for the portals.
The Devs got tired of saying not happing long ago, there should be a sticky thread saying no to more stash.
You can level the mule alts too just by adding them to your new characters game, they're only a few quests that need the mule to be close to the quest trigger.
In my opinion: I just cannot understand how Arpg game developers think it is ok to limit storage, It's like they've never played there own game.
why would you need *2* games for mules? (heck i personally dont' understand the use of mules these days)
you can have infinite mules in your 1 game "account"
anyways, as mentioned, devs have stated their position on this many times: they don't feel infinite storage fits in the game, as it detracts from item value/choice when you can just hoard everything, likewise they allow the game to be modded so players that do want infinite storage can do so, but it's not something they feel is for vanilla game/their vision of the game
You could always go play Diablo 4 and learn what limited stash/bank really is. Grim Dawn is one of the better games that allows you to have a large stash without having to ...uhh... buy another account!
Just needed to correct your statements. Nothing personal!
